Centenary Celebrations of
Shukla Yajus Shaka Trust,
Chamarajpet, Bangalore.
The Shukla Yajus Shaka Trust located at No. 27, 3rd Main Road, Chamarajpet, Bangalore 18, was started in the year 1910. The Trust is completing 100 years in the year 2010. It is decided to celebrate the centenary is a befitting manner.
The Trust is conducting the following activities.
- To promote Sanskrit and Veda and Hindu Dharma, it is running a Veda Patashala and a Sanskrit school from its inception. Thousands of Sanskrit and Veda scholars have graduated from this school.
- It has also free hostel for the students of the above Patashala.
- Provides hostel for college students (both professional and other branches) at subsidized rates.
- Publishes various books on Upanishads and Hindu Dharma and life history of Rishis and Acharyas.
- Conducts lectures and discourses on Dharmic subjects.
- Holds simple marriages according to Sastras.
- Has a counseling bureau to guide students to pursue higher studies.
- Provides free medical aid in Ayurvedic system and free legal advice to the needy.
As part of the Centenary celebrations it is proposed to construct additional 12 rooms in the hostel and to purchase a site for ladies hostel and old age home for the needy. It is therefore requested that all the philanthropic persons may donate liberally for these noble causes.

Installation of Sri Gayatri Devi
It is proposed to install Sri Gayatri Devi at the Trust premises, No 27, 3rd Main, Chamarajpet on 28th February. All devotees are requested to attend the function and get the blessings of Sri Gayatri Devi.
